Course Overview
This qualification represents the role of experienced pastry chefs who take on supervisory or team-leading responsibilities within a kitchen setting. Working independently or with minimal supervision, they exercise discretion and problem-solving skills to handle non-routine situations. Individuals holding this qualification may be titled Chef Patissier or Chef de Partie and are capable of overseeing pastry operations in environments such as large hotel pastry kitchens, catering services, or standalone patisseries.
Entry Requirement
To enroll in the Certificate iv in Patisserie programme at Australasian Academy, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:- Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old at the time of enrollment
- Successful completion of Certificate III in Patisserie
- English Proficiency: Basic understanding of English (reading, writing, and speaking) is required, as the course is conducted in English.
