Course Overview
The Certificate III in Individual Support equips students with the skills needed to care for elderly individuals in community and residential settings. The program focuses on effective communication, personalized care, understanding healthy body systems, engaging with diverse groups, promoting independence, and maintaining safety, legal, and ethical standards. Graduates will have both a strong theoretical foundation and practical expertise to plan, implement, and evaluate care strategies that meet individual client needs.
Entry Requirement
To enroll in the Individual Support programme at Australasian Academy, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:- Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old at the time of enrollment.
- Educational Qualifications: Completion of GCE O/L (Ordinary Level) or an equivalent qualification.
- English Proficiency: Basic understanding of English (reading, writing, and speaking) is required, as the course is conducted in English.
